New slow-reacting hybrid polyurea developed for manual application & Hot spray with static mixer, with a working time of approximately 20 minutes, this time period allows you to sprinkle colorful arids, flakes… to obtain a more resistant or decorative finish depending on project requirements the curing time of 3-4 hours, no smell at all !!!!!

- Coloured quartz sand, topcoat KRYPTANATE 100 LV, 0,3-0,5 kg/m2 it depends of the rugosity and the size of sand is required, applied with trowel.

Smooth topcoat
We have many different topcoats, we can use products fast curing for example KRYPTANATE 100 LV or polyurethanes single components solvent base for example FLOORTOP 1K or Water base PU COLODUR ECO.
Instead of using quartz sand we can use also decorative flakes of different colours.
Krypton Chemical launches its new protective coating IMPERMAX EP
IMPERMAX EP is a two component epoxy resin, very high thixotropy, 100% solids, compatible with wet concrete substrates (not standing water).
It can be applied (brush, roller or airless spray) in very high thicknesses, even on vertical surfaces.
It has high chemical resistance, in continuous contact with slightly acidic or alkaline water, urban or industrial wastewater, sewage, leachate…
Mainly designed as an interior lining of manholes, elevator shafts and other structures, especially buried and without significant support movements.
Case study of the month: Waterproofing of the railway bridge over the Tordera river
The storm “Gloria” left the old bridge over the Tordera river that communicated by train the towns of Blanes and Malgrat de Mar, between the provinces of Barcelona and Girona. The 221.3 meter long infrastructure was awarded for more than 8.6 million euros.
The applied system was based on ETE certificate number 16/149 for waterproofing bridge decks. The continuous, elastomeric and thermosetting membrane of reference IMPERMAX POLYUREA H FLEX has an excellent capacity to bridge cracks in the support (class B.4.2 dynamic and A5 static).
This membrane, once applied, was protected with a high grammage geotextile. Finally the ballast was extended, the support of the train tracks.
