Increased service life and reduced maintenance costs in wastewater treatment plants (urban / industrial)
The bacterial decomposition of organic matter in wastewater treatment plants, also in biogas digesters, generates highly corrosive acid compounds for concrete: Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4).
The waterproofing of water tanks and pipes with a polyurea membrane, in addition to preventing water leaks, protects the concrete from the corrosion generated by these acids, reducing maintenance costs and increasing lifetime of the facilities.
POLYUREA RAYSTON, is certified according to the EN-1504-2 standard for the protection of concrete structures. It is a thermosetting and elastomeric membrane with excellent ability to bridge over the possible fissures in the support (certified class A5 static and certified B.4.2 dynamic, the highest possible classifications). And it also has exceptional chemical resistance against these acids, under the conditions of a treatment plant (certified class III, also the maximum possible).

Application of a first layer of PAINTCHLORE 2K, two-component polyurethane with resistance to chlorine, manual application with roller,
Application of 2 coats of PAINTCHLORE 2K applied by roller.
